Every Door Direct Mail
YES, EVERY DOOR!
Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) is a service which allows you to mail postcards or other mailing pieces over a certain size to every address on one or more U.S. Postal Service carrier routes AT REDUCED POSTAGE RATES.
NO MAILING LIST? NO PROBLEM! When you print and mail postcards, you can personally send them to your own mailing list. However, mailing EDDM, requires NO ADDRESS LIST. You can also choose between mailing to only Businesses, only Residences, or BOTH!

One requirement for mailing EDDM, which is also a benefit, is that the piece must be LARGE, which helps make the piece stand out in the mail. Some of the sizes that qualify are:
- 6.25" x 9"
- 5.5" x 11"
- 6" x 11"
- 8.5" x 11"
- 9" x 12"
- 11" x 17" folded to 8.5" x 11"
- 11" x 25.5" folded to 8.5" x 11"
Another requirement is that the piece must be mailed to ALL ADDRESSES on a given carrier route. However, there is NO LIMIT to the number of carrier routes you can choose or the number of pieces you can mail. You can mail to a single carrier route, multiple carrier routes, or to an entire ZIP code. Please download our EDDM Postcard price list to see the quantity price breaks.
STEPS TO DO AN EDDM MAILING:
- Decide which size you want to do and how much you want to spend (see list above for sizes and click HERE for prices).
- Decide on a quantity. Go to the USPS Carrier Route Search Tool to select the ZIP code(s) and carrier routes that fit your target area and budget. Please note, you must mail to an entire carrier route, so your print/mail quantity will be determined by the carrier routes you choose that fit within your budget.
- Have your graphic designer send you a high-resolution print-ready PDF of your postcard at the appropriate size or have Allegro Copy + Print do the layout for you. Please contact us for more specific "address block" placement guidelines.
- Send us the print-ready PDF and your list of ZIP code(s) and carrier routes. We will mail to every door on the specified routes. NO MAILING LIST IS NEEDED!
